Sullivan Engineering enjoys working with residential building owners to prepare them for the complexities associated with an exterior restoration project, including setting realistic expectations for what are usually the two biggest concerns: budget and schedule. In addition to tackling the major issues in advance, we also discuss the inconveniences associated with a project such as: noise, dust and the potential for workmen to be on a scaffold outside of bedroom windows.
At the start of a project, we like to host a “full building” meeting to discuss the work that will go on, set the expectations and answer any questions that the residents have. We’ve found that this helps minimize surprises, creates full engagement from all residents and reduces the number of questions directed to the co-op or condo Board members in the hallways and elevators.
