Sullivan Engineering is pleased to announce that Mark J. Sheeran, P.E. has joined the firm as the Chief Strategy & Operating Officer. In this role, Mark will lead and manage the vision and operations of the company. Mark is a licensed Professional Engineer, with extensive industry expertise in strategic planning and corporate growth.
Before joining Sullivan Engineering, Mark was the Managing Partner & Founder of Odyssey Realty Partners, LLC, a strategic advisory firm within the real estate and AEC industries. Founding the firm under the principle that extraordinary results are attainable with perspective from the journey ahead, Mark built a reputation within our industry of being a trusted, dynamic, and impactful voice; sharing nuanced experiences from his journey in real estate and corporate development to guide his clients to extraordinary results on their own journeys. Concurrently, Mark was also a Principal Advisor with Morrissey Goodale LLC, the premier management consulting and research firm exclusively serving the architecture, engineering, and environmental consulting industries. In this role, Mark worked within our industry to deliver strategic business planning and financial advisory solutions, including buy-side and sell-side mergers and acquisitions advisory services.
Mark has spent his career working within the real estate and AEC industries, in both operations and corporate development roles. His experience includes over $2 billion of real estate development and construction projects and over $150 million of corporate transactions within our industry. A lifelong New Yorker, Mark is proud to have been a part of rebuilding the World Trade Center site as a member of the One World Trade Center owner’s representative team.
Mark received his MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University and his BS in Civil Engineering from Manhattan College. A proud Jasper, Mark serves on the advisory boards for the Mentor Program and School of Engineering at his alma mater.
Mark lives in Larchmont, NY with his wife, Pamela, and their two children, Mark and Anna. In his free time, Mark loves to spend time with his family, golf, teach, and mentor.
